The gift of Peaceful Surroundings
There's something about a crackling fire that brings peace to my inner world. Perhaps it touches on some ancient memory of being warmed by a fire when it was a matter of life and death. Just for today do what you have to do to make your surroundings peaceful.....even if it's just your inner world.

Merry Christmas Eve! This is my peaceful time. Early in the morning before anyone else gets up. Cat is on my lap purring and watching the IPad, Molly is curled up on the floor and the house is oh so quiet. It won't last, but it is special. And this time of the year with the Christmas tree lights on! A tiny piece of heaven.
